The vertical long shaft pump is mainly used for cooling, flushing and other water circulation pumping, lifting and pressurizing in the production process of ingot continuous casting, ingot hot rolling, thin plate hot rolling, etc. China's steel output ranks first in the world, however, steel production in steel mills can not be a matter of a sudden. In the production process of ingot continuous casting, ingot hot rolling and thin plate hot rolling, the circulating suction, lifting and pressurization of cooling and flushing water need vertical long shaft pump. Since the vertical long shaft pump is so important, I will talk about the structure performance range, characteristics and working principle of vertical long shaft pump.
Performance range of vertical long shaft pump:
Flow rate: 50 ~ 8400m3 / h;
Lift: 15 ~ 150m.
Vertical long shaft pump has a vertical downward suction inlet, horizontal outlet, vacuum free start-up, single foundation installation, direct connection of water pump and motor, small foundation area; viewed from the motor end, the pump rotor parts rotate anticlockwise, with the main features as follows:
1. The hydraulic design software is used to optimize the design, the performance is superior, and the anti-corrosion performance of the impeller and guide vane body is fully considered, so that the service life of the impeller and guide vane body is greatly improved, and the product runs stably, safely and reliably, with high efficiency and energy saving.
2. The inlet of the vertical long shaft pump is equipped with a filter screen and the opening size is appropriate, which not only effectively prevents the large particles from entering the pump and damaging the pump, but also minimizes the inlet loss and improves the efficiency of the pump.
3. The impeller of vertical long shaft pump adopts balance hole to balance the axial force. The front and rear cover plates of impeller are equipped with replaceable sealing rings to protect the impeller and guide vane body.
4. The rotor components of vertical long shaft pump include impeller, impeller shaft, intermediate shaft, upper shaft, coupling, adjusting nut and other parts.
5. The intermediate shaft, lifting pipe and protective pipe of vertical long shaft pump are multiple sections, and the shaft is connected by thread coupling or sleeve coupling; the number of lifting pipes can be increased or decreased according to the needs of users, so as to adapt to different underwater depth. The impeller and guide vane body can be single-stage or multi-stage to adapt to different head requirements.
6. The length of single shaft is reasonable and the rigidity is enough.
7. The lifting pipe of vertical long shaft pump is connected by flange, and there is a guide bearing body between two adjacent lifting pipes. The guide bearing body and guide vane body are equipped with guide bearing, and the guide bearing is made of polytetrafluoroethylene or Sialon or nitrile rubber. The protective pipe is used to protect the shaft and guide bearing. When conveying clean water, the protective pipe can be cancelled, and the guide bearing does not need to be connected with external cooling and lubricating water; when transporting sewage, the protective pipe must be installed, and the guide bearing must be connected with external cooling and lubricating water (the water pump is equipped with self closing sealing system, and the self closing sealing system can prevent sewage from entering the guide bearing after the pump stops).
8. The residual axial force and the weight of rotor parts of vertical long shaft pump can be borne by thrust bearing in motor support or motor with thrust bearing. The thrust bearing adopts grease lubrication (also known as dry oil lubrication) or lubricating oil lubrication (also known as thin oil lubrication).
9. The shaft seal of the vertical long shaft pump is a packing seal. The shaft seal and guide bearing are equipped with replaceable shaft sleeve to protect the shaft. The axial position of the impeller is adjusted by the upper end of the thrust bearing component or the adjusting nut in the pump coupling, which is very convenient.
10. The vertical long shaft pump with outlet diameter of φ 100 and φ 150 is only used for conveying normal temperature clean water without protective tube, and the guide bearing does not need external lubricating water lubrication; if users need long shaft pump with diameter of φ 100 and diameter of φ 150 with protective tube.
